Learn2Give Project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Learn2Give Project is set up by English Crazy Club, which was founded in 2003. It is a group of university students who have a passion in learning English and would like to give valuable things back to community. The idea of the club is to organize English camps for schools in rural areas of Ubon Ratchathani and nearby provinces. After organising many English camps, we have learned and realized that many students still lack of motivation to learn more English. And we believe that having students study English with English speaking people from around the world would be another great way to help students improve their English and finally they will learn how English is important to them. So, the idea of the Learn2Give project has been released!
WHAT IS LEARN2Give?
Learn2Give is a non-profit teaching project which welcomes volunteers from all over the world to teach English at rural schools in Northeastern Thailand. The project has been carefully designed by English Crazy Club staff who has worked closely with children and international volunteers at previous English camps. To help search for potential volunteers across the globe to participate in this project, English Crazy Club has been in cooperation with three hospitality exchange websites; Helpx.net, Couchsurfing.net and Hostpitalityclub.org. What we do is contact host schools for Learn2Give volunteers. The host school will be willing to provide accommodation and food for volunteers in return. Before teaching at school, our volunteer will be given an introduction activity run by English Crazy Club staff for five days.
